Team Tuesday - Welcome To The New Guys!

We've said it a few times already, new year, new us. Well it couldn't be more true with more new faces coming onboard at Manic and helping take things to a new level! Let us introduce some new (and maybe familiar) faces to you all.

KARSTEN NEBEN - Account Manager and Fly Guru Guy

Karsten is most definitely a well-considered man who loves the details and subtleties of things normally missed by the rest of us folk. A true craftsman behind the vice, and in the kitchen, Karsten was convinced to move across the Tasman to join us here at Manic as an account manager. Already he's proved himself as the most mature person at Manic so all grown up questions can be directed his way.

JAMES GIBBONS - Warehouse & Customer Services

James has a pretty salty background coming from Shimano as well as his own reel servicing business, Reel Men. It's now our job to bring him across to the dark side of fly which is already underway out on the salt. James is a key part of the warehouse crew and has hit the ground running from day one figuring out the difference between a pheasant tail and hare and copper very quickly.

WAYNE BARNES - Warehouse & Customer Services

Wayne is one of the friendliest chaps you'll meet and is a full blown fly fishing tragic. You may have seen him bouncing around the place on Facebook having spent a lot of time chasing fish in the Canterbury region, then more recently Waikato. Well we managed to drag him even further north into the true mecca of fly fishing for trout, Auckland City. You'll know Wayne is on the river when you see his tricked out Jimny parked up so hunt him down and say hi, he's a great man.
