Team Tuesday - Menzies College Fly Fishing Club

Recently, our man in the south, Chris Dore visited the newly formed fly fishing club at Menzies College in Southland where a couple dozen year 9 and 10 students, led by their teacher, Tim Landreth decided to take up flyfishing and get outdoors. It was a great day teaching the students all about fly fishing, equipment, fly selection, fly casting, catch & release, and safety in the NZ outdoors. Thanks to Tim, Kit and the Menzies College team, Sport Southland for their support, and the kids especially for being great students with engaging questions and a heck of a lot of newfound skill.
