Team Tuesday - Manic Hits Taupo

We thought we'd take some time out to head down to Turangi for a casual fish and see what all the fuss was about, so the car was loaded up with rods and we hit the road Friday afternoon to try and have good fishing. The weather forecast didn't bode well but we managed to get a rainy day in on The Tongariro on Saturday mucking around with the Radians and some double handers and a casual nudge donating flies to the Hine on Sunday. The Tongariro flooded out and a fairly big way overnight on Saturday so it will be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of months. All up it was a great trip, fish were caught and a couple of whiskys sampled, can't ask for much more that than.
