Monster Wild Rainbow Caught

Our buddy Lindsay Whittington caught this monster wild rainbow trout from a South Otago river, it would be worth noting that this was a wild fish and not a canal fish. Totally a fish of a lifetime, caught sight fishing with his Scott A3 906/4. And yes we all have massive fish envy.

Needless to say this fish bottomed out the scales so all we really have to work off is 33" long 22" girth. Those in the know are estimating the fish close to 30lb.
