Manic Tackle Project Presents: The Hog Of The Year Award

So when Andrew Harding offered to send us this mounted monster Tongariro brown that has been retrofitted with some super sweet boar tusks we were in two minds what we could actually do with it. Add some wings to it, politely decline or give it to someone else. The end result, regift it and give it to someone else for a year!
And with that said, today we're introducing to you the Manic Tackle Project "Hog Of The Year" award. What does that mean? Well it's been crazy year of big fish etc yada yada but we know there's plenty of great fish that we still haven't laid eyes on so we're asking you to send us your favourite fish images from the season, we'll pick out five and then make a poll for the community to vote on to pick the winner.
Other than that there's no rules, it doesn't need to be a double figure trout to qualify as a hog, a four pounder from a Waikato spring creek is hog any day, we'll let the people decide.
Not only does the lucky winner get to have this mounted fish-pig thing on their living room wall for a year (which is mandatory) but we're also throwing in a Simms Fishing Products prize pack worth almost $500 which includes:
Simms Flyweight Wading Boots
Simms Sun Gaiter
Simms Cap
So, how to enter you ask?

1. Reply in the comments section of THIS POST with your fish hog pic with a quick caption

2. In a weeks time we'll pick out our favourite five images and create a poll for the Manic community to vote on

3. One week after that we'll see where we are at and who the lucky recipient of this work of art(?) is, as well as that awesome prize pack

The winner will get their name engraved on the trophy and we'll do it all again next year. So get sharing, we want to see some piggies!
