Kyle Adams went backcountry

Here's a flashback from earlier in the season when our mate Kyle Adams from Taranaki Hunting & Fishing went for a wee wander with the aim of snagging a few fish, and snag a few he did.

"Five days in the backcountry with perfect weather bar one day of rain. Perfectly formed pools that never ended and water clarity off optical visibilty. Fish happy to rise to the the terrestrial dry but also spook as your toes entered the water from well behind. Smashing takes with explosive fights and fish just sooo dam pretty! Along with the scenery, whistling deer, river sounds and the company of my mate Daniel this place well and truly lived up to its reputation. We will both visit again this is a place to keep!"
