Tied on heavy wire, Daichi Japanese steel, the Two Bit Hooker is designed to hold those big old browns on strong tippet without letting you down. With a very slim profile and epoxied body the TBH will slip through the water column with ease, getting you deeper, faster and with two smaller tungsten beads to eliminate bulk and yet maintain weight, you can fish a pair of smaller flies confidently at depth.

One issue we often have with small, dark mayfly imitations when the nymph drift is heavy is getting our flies noticed amongst all those naturals. With just a hint of eye catching flash tied into the wing case, your problem is solved, without the need for a bigger, attention grabbing bling fly.

Available in sizes 14 through to 18 in both black and brown, this is a great anytime nymph for those technical spring creeks, lowland streams, lake edges and freestone headwaters fished in tandem, or beneath a dry whenever you wish to ‘hedge your bet’.
