Andrew Harding's latest installment - Ghosts of the Flats
He's back at it again, this time over a squally weekend at Lake Otamangakau in the central North Island. Looks like that Simms G4 Pro jacket came in handy!
"A few days just gone, fly fishing a small, high altitude lake in New Zealand's central North Island. The weather was terrible with lots of rain, gale force winds and even snow flurries... and then next minute... beautiful sunshine! Most fish gave themselves away by a cast shadow, waving tail or waggling dorsal whilst foraging on the shallow flats allowing them to be the target of a small Woolly Bugger stripped past their nose... often resulting in violent, high speed, shallow-water strikes... fantastic fun and this showcases just a fraction of the fish caught."
